Schools and Colleges
Many Secondary and Primary schools are finding that the provision of a
suitable sound system together with a projector can be of great benefit.
The sound systems can be used for morning assemblies, playing background
music or providing sound reinforcement for school plays, speech days and so
on.
Where the school is providing drama as part of the syllabus we can advise
on the best choice of suitable equipment for both sound reinforcement and
lighting.
Paging and Background Music Systems
The traditional distributed sound system is capable of extremely high
quality due to better technology and methods of transmission. The common
100 Volt line systems sometimes referred to as Tannoy systems whilst
still common place are being superseded by more complex and higher quality
digital systems that can use switched Ethernet LAN (Local Area Network)
on CAT-5 or fiber optic cable.
Such systems can support multiple audio channels at a resolution
of 24-bit/48 kHz
The 100 Volt systems are also well specified offering many facilities
and options, allowing paging levels and music levels to be set locally,
music input selection, muting and many other facilities.
The sound system is a great tool for communicating to your staff and
customers. Apart from the obvious communication possibilities you can
inform customers of special offers and promotions over a sound system
in a much more direct and cost effective way than just using adverts and
posters. Your ears are always open and this opportunity has not gone unnoticed
by many of the high streets major retailers.
Without the quality of sound reproduction the message will be lost,
which is why any such system must be correctly specified and installed.
We have installed many different types of distributed sound
system from multi-zoned systems for day care centres, and public buildings
to quality background music systems in private Hotels and Restaurants.
